Description

Come join us at WeWork Transbay for Hardware Massive SF. This month's speaker is Zach Stein CEO and founder of Osmo Systems, he will talk about" Fundraising 101: How to Build a Successful Fundraising Strategy in Silicon Valley".

Zach Stein, CEO and founder of Osmo Systems - a company building technology for fish farms of the future. Zach is a first time founder who recently wrapped up his seed raise and is going to share the lessons on what he learned made it successful.

If you are a first time founder like me, the fundraising process in Silicon Valley can be a daunting process. At the beginning my strategy consisted of jumping at any opportunity to pitch that crossed my desk and crossing my fingers. In talking with a lot of other founders, I know a lot of you have been in this spot.

Luckily, there is a tried and tested strategy to successfully fundraising in Silicon Valley. It’s not necessarily easy to setup, and it still takes a lot of hustle, but once it is in place, it will give you the best shot of finding the right investors and getting them on board with your vision and writing that check.

In this talk I will cover the basic mechanics of how a good fundraising campaign works, how to set yours up, and any little details that I found useful along the way. There will also be plenty of time for questions.
