About meJane has been a passionate advocate for sustainability for many years, showcased by her food and environment blog Green Eatz. In 2017, she graduated with distinction with a Sustainability Certificate from UCLA Extension, and she has been involved in environmental activism for over a decade.
Jane moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2012, and soon began her long association with the non-profit Cleantech Open, a startup accelerator focused on early-stage entrepreneurs in cleantech. Initially, she worked as an outreach ambassador but then moved on to include responsibilities for social media and website development. After moving to the Los Angeles area in 2018, she has once again taken on the role of metro ambassador and has also become involved in mentoring in corporate sustainability and pitching techniques.
Jane hails from the UK where she worked in software development, initially in analysis and programming. She showed her potential as a leader and was promoted to project management roles. She then started her own software consultancy, Beach Computers, specializing in financial legacy systems. After moving to Australia in 2002, she studied and qualified as a nutritionist, reinforcing her interest in veganism and healthy eating.
